Contracts/Cost Control Manager - Norconsult Telematics Apr 29th 2013, 12:47 To manage all project control functions for assigned large project or portfolio of smaller projects in the following areas; Cost Management, Contract Management, Change Management, Performance Monitoring and Project Status Reporting, using standard methodology adopted to specific project requirements. Responsibilities • Develop thorough understanding of the contract provisions, scope of work the estimate and procurement/contracting plan • Interface with Vendors\contractors in matters related to project controls • Participate in or lead proposal preparation and enhancements of the process in use • Propose new management changes. Cost control & estimating • Publish project specific procedures related to cost and change control • Lead control budget creation • Review and authorize cost reports and change notices • Initiate and review estimates as required for change control • Review and authorize forecasts • Supervise contractors' invoice approval processing Reporting: • Establish reporting calendar • Establish reporting formats for the project • Lead preparation of the Monthly Report and assemble it with data from other sources to produce a comprehensive project report.
