KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Prepares/recommends and implements sales strategy that may involve: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, proposing, closing, installing, maintaining post-sale customer service, retention, account development strategies, balanced juggling of activity to generate revenue growth amongst existing and new prospective clients.

Effectively and efficiently utilizes resources such as application engineers and marketing support specialists to meet customer needs and increase sales in multiple accounts.

Identifies/recommends strategic sales direction. Develops and delivers sales presentation; conducts consultative meetings with customers; participates in ensuring that technical and service requirements are met.

Forecasts activity, sales orders and inventory requirements for assigned accounts.

Identifies and monitors competitor's activities.

Handles all other duties as assigned.



ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 5+ years of successful sales experience (oil field equipment, products and/or services preferred). General knowledge of drilling operations a plus.

Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of oil field drilling products and services. Should have a working knowledge of Baker Hughes’s products, policies, operational procedures and the ability to understand and explain relevant technical issues.

Excellent selling skills, with proven track record of increased revenue generation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English (written and verbal)



SKILLS
Ability to build strong relationships across many cultures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Prior experience in using effective networking and
negotiation techniques.

Familiar with CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce.com, …)

Plus if candidate has sales training (Miller Heiman®, SPI® sales methodology, or similar)
