The Assistant Manager, Insurance is responsible for overlooking all the insurance, travel, corporate credit card and office space management activities.
The Assistant Manager, Insurance reports directly to the Senior Manager, Insurance.
The Assistant Manager, Insurance has 1 direct report.
The Assistant Manager, Insurance will interact internally with Emaar employees across all levels as well as externally with Insurance agencies.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Insurance:
• Manage insurance covers for project insurances, asset insurances, liability and other annual insurance policies like Fidelity Guarantee, D&O policy etc to protect the overall interests of the company.
• Ensure all projects under construction are insured during their construction under CAR Policy.
• Ensure 100% Emaar asset & assets under its care custody and control are under relevant insurance covers.
• Ensure all liabilities / exposures of Emaar are adequately secured by Public Liability / D&O / Fidelity guarantee policies with adequate limit.
• Formulate risk management strategy working together with Insurance consultant/ Broker Marsh Insco.
• Manage whole claims process which involves intimation, follow-up, claims recovery and disbursement.
