Research into market trends and competitors on types of equipment and pricing with a report to MD every two weeks.
Research into Customer needs, by meetings and visits to customers, who have bought from the company within the last twelve months.
To understand their requirements and obtain competitor information and discuss the information on a fortnightly (two weeks) basis with the MD.
Building contacts with key buyers in overseas markets and coordinating with the MD in terms of fulfilling their requirements.
Coordinating with the Group Marketing Manager to define your market strategy so that he may create the correct marketing strategy to support your plan.
Identify customers who have not purchased in the last twelve months, on a monthly basis, so that he can follow up and reestablish contact so that sales to those customers can be revived.
Local purchases of chicaneries
Internet based purchases
Internet auctions
Local and international auction
Identification of new suppliers and establishing relationships with them
Conducting due diligence on suppliers to prevent incidences of fraud.
Auction purchase & Auction Sale
Pricing strategy of machinery
Any other duties that may be assigned by the MD
