Position Title: SAP CIS Functional Analyst

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ 

Primary Role:

A customer-centric role performing key tasks, in support of SAP Customer Information System (CIS) applications, including front end support, configuration, master data management, data quality, role management, and reporting.  This position requires insight into multiple business processes and its supporting technology. As such, this role must effectively blend a core foundation rooted in the business processes and objectives with a broad understanding of technology and methodology in order to support, and at time serve as a liaison between, the business community, Information Technology and third party vendors.  

 Key Accountabilities: 

·         Proactively recommends process and system improvements to Business Systems.

·         Owns the business strategy and planning for how technology is leveraged to support, enable, and accelerate business initiatives and operations

·         Clearly and concisely communicates and interprets technical information to a broad range of people of varying levels of technical expertise.

·         Determines effective solutions to system, reporting, data, and configuration issues.

·         Analyzes processes and resources necessary for the effective implementation of stated processes and practices.

·         Documents business and departmental process flows as they pertain to the continuance and efficiency of the operation.

·         Develops innovative means to structure workflow to alleviate backlogs and ensure the maximum utilization of time; living the principle of Value>Price>Cost

·         Serves as a liaison between various team members and internal customers, addresses technical and general "how to" questions.

·         Serves as the point of contact and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of systems changes, and analyzing data flows to configure Business Systems for optimization, accuracy, and process improvement.

·         Creates queries/ad-hoc reports on behalf of internal customers and external auditors

·         Performs Unit and Functional testing for new reports

·         Creates reports and dashboards to measure the results. Oversees and/or conducts data extraction, compilation, analysis, and risk assessment to support the department initiatives and continuous improvements efforts.

·         Collaborates with the training team to and assists in the development of user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. as needed support to the training team/end users on self-serve functionality in SAP Business Objects reporting tool

·         Executes and promotes adherence to data governance policies and reporting protocols

·         Supports initiatives to execute data cleansing activities as required

·         Collaborates with the Business Process & Data Solutions leadership to provide role guidance, identify and troubleshoot business role conflicts; advise of alternate T-Codes/processes to achieve same results within existing roles

·         Performs system testing, configuration and maintenance

·         Maintains and updates design documents, coordinates changes and transports with key stakeholders, and executes system configuration and maintenance activities in support of the business.

·         Provides support to vet master data and transactional data change requests; obtain necessary approvals

 

Skills/Knowledge:

·         SAP CIS Functional and Application knowledge required

·         Specific process and system configuration knowledge

·         Working knowledge of SAP CIS  modules as listed below

·         Broad knowledge of SAP and third party application table structure and fields

·         Ability to facilitate meetings with small groups of clients and negotiate with clients to achieve balance between competing needs and resources.

·         Demonstrated ability to work effectively across the organization – with technical and non-technical professionals.

·         Ability to quickly grasp the complexities of disparate lines of business and their requirements.

·         Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
