To develop and implement business strategies, policies and processes for the general management, business development and commercial leadership for the broad spectrum of activities in Waste Management Services (Solid & Liquid) in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, Automotive Workshop, Fabrication, Tank Cleaning, Street sweeping & Pest Control Services . Job responsibilities include
• Manage and ensure performance of the division as the profit-centre head.
• Grow and develop the existing businesses and markets while striving to increase the customer base and sales turnover at a competitive pricing with timely receivables in line with the corporate policy.
• Maintain regular contact especially with major customers to maintain high service-standards and to seek feedback from them so that the company can effectively implement a programme of continuous improvement.
• Lead the efforts in ensuring that the appropriate business systems, processes and controls are in place.
• Develop & maintain a motivated environment that brings out best individual & team efforts and ensuring high productivity & effectiveness within staff performance. Support all HR processes and initiatives such as staffing, Learning & Development and Talent Management in line with the corporate policy guidelines.
• Pursue new business opportunities and related adjacencies such as green initiatives and recycling.
• Evaluate the costs and benefits of all new ideas and initiatives to ensure that resources are appropriately directed and to keep the business ahead of its competitors.
• Maintain an awareness of the latest developments and technology in Waste Management Services and in automotives, and to ensure that the company continues to take advantage of the latest thinking in these areas.
• Prepare the department's budget to ensure that this is appropriately allocated and so that the Company achieves the best value for money.
• Enforce performance standards, organizational policies, provide direction and motivation to functional managers and employees as well as ensure that adequate training is being imparted to staff as required to effectivise their respective responsibilities.
• Maintain add-on quality, health, safety and environment standards such as ISO as well as partner with the Government of UAE/ Dubai/other Emirates concerned, its affiliates and other similar organizations in such endeavors.
• Liaise with government, semi-government and related institutions for statutory compliance and complement our public relation initiatives.
• Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
