System Analyst \ Saudis Only - Almarai Company May 26th 2013, 08:18 Core Purpose of Job: The Systems Analyst shall be directly responsible for development, enhancement & maintenance of Applications. He shall work towards highest quality of systems, within budgeted time. User satisfaction on the systems developed & supported by him will the critical success factor besides adherence to the Group's methodology in all sphere of work. Areas of Responsibility (AOR) 1. Responsible for operation, enhancement and maintenance of all applications, which are allocated to him from time to time. 2. Learning & adhering to the methods prescribed within the group for IS work. To constantly work towards improvement of methods in all areas, especially, where methods are either inadequate or absent. 3. Constantly interact with the users to understand the systems and problems faced by them. 4. Plan, study, analyses design, develop Integrated On-line systems. Typically the systems may be developed using GUI development tools and RDBMS. 5. Prepare technical & test specifications and Project Plan. 6. Take up coding of application, unit test of the programs and document the test proceedings. 7. Giving technical assistants to the programmer​/​r-analyst. 8. To supervise programmer​/​r-analyst wherever applicable. 9. To interact with other analysts regarding interfaces to other systems, document and resolve issues for seamless integration. 10. Plan & execute training for users on their systems. 11. Adhere and comply with the security policies and procedures. 12. Follow security controls with respect to application implementation. 13. Analyse and incorporate adequate security controls in all applications developed​/​d. 14. Review the security controls periodically and take appropriate corrective action.
