The Planning Manager is overall in charge of the production and material planning and is responsible for managing the planning activities in EPS. It is a critical role that ensures efficient and smooth flow of material across the supply chain responsible for the functions of Planning, Procurement, Transit and Stock Management.
Duties & responsibilities:
·         Lead a team of Planners to achieve the Planning   KPIs in line with the    business requirements.
·         Lead supply chain initiatives and improvements to optimize the planning process.
·         Develop guideline for supply and demand alignment decisions.
·         Conduct ABCFMR analysis to decide on the optimal stocking policies.
·         Lead the continuous improvement projects to drive out inefficiencies from the supply chain
·         Develop MPS based on the forecast to help in long term capacity planning in production.
·         Periodic review of the Logistics Offer to ensure it captures the existing supply chain constraints.
·         Identify and respond to exceptional demand by putting proper actions in place.
·         Root cause analysis: Routinely conduct the RCA on material shortage to provide long term solution.
·         Work in close coordination with POMs to meet the project deadlines
