Foundation for Progress is a 'Think Tank' and a Sustainable Development Organization. It is non-profit, non-political and independent in nature. It strives and pursues for attaining the goals of progress i.e the making of a progressive, prosperous and a better pakistani for a better world. Its services and activities are carried out under its three core programs i.e Leadership For Pakistan, Meeting Challenges - National and Global and the program of Building Partnerships, Promoting Sustainability.
It was founded by Dr. M.A. Wajid in 2001, by the current Chairman & President of the Foundation for Progress. It is registered as a non-profit with the government under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Registration and Control Ordinance of 1971.
It efforts to project the national aspirations, causes and views of the Pakistani Nation in a befitting manner at the local, regional and international forums.
It provides an excellent opportunity and forum for people inspired and motivated with the spirit of selfless service, to improve the condition of the human society, by working together as a powerful group endeavoring to make our communities, our country and the world a better place for everyone, everywhere.
