Recruitment Officer May 3rd 2013, 22:09 Participate in Sales recruitment, selection and engagement of staff across the organisation ensuring that the organisation recruits on our Values of Respect, Integrity and Empathy. Implement activities to source, attract and retain staff. Maintain a detailed data base of applicants. Assist in the development of a person specification or brief in consultation with the Recruitment Manager and/or Recruitment Supervisor. Prepare advertisements for vacant positions for review by the Recruitment Manager and/or Recruitment Supervisor. and arrange publication in appropriate media. Acknowledge receipt of applications and follow up for additional information where necessary followed by initial screening of job applicants to ensure that skills match the requirements of the relevant position description. Undertake preliminary phone, group and individual interviews of applicants as required. Develop an overall report and a short list of candidates for Project Managers and arrange and coordinate interview panels. Organise recruitment related processes such as medicals, reference checking, psychometric testing, police checks, notification letters to unsuccessful candidates, preparation of candidate information packs for appropriate candidates and communicate with internal customers. Meet administrative requirements, including maintenance of clear, accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with policy, procedures and funding guidelines. Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures are adhered to and recommend improvements.
