NAVIGATION TECHNICIAN - Arabian Geophysical and Surveying Co. LTD Jun 26th 2013, 06:00 Job Requirements: • Install, configure and monitor the navigation instrumentation on board of the seismic vessels or barges (DGPS, echo sounders, acoustic systems, computers). • Detect any anomalies and carry out repair and or ensure the replacement of faulty equipment. • Perform the positioning of the vessel using Concept Systems GATOR® software. • Ensure the positioning measurements, quality control and the recording of all navigation data during preliminary work and during seismic acquisition; supervise the vessel staff and give the maneuvering orders during navigation - cable deployment or source operations. • Ensure good working relationships between the maritime and seismic teams. • Ensure compliance with HSE rules on board the vessel.
