Sales Executives - Dubai Electricity and Water Authority Jun 26th 2013, 06:00 Dubai Electricity & Water Authority is looking to hire "dynamic", "Energetic", ambitious, target oriented team players, and proactive Sales Executives to venture & attract new clients from both UAE / International market to exhibit at WETEX (The Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition) an international exhibition held in UAE . ******Applicants with previous experience within exhibition/conference sales only need to apply The primary role involves marketing and selling of exhibition space for WETEX International exhibition Key Responsibilities Selling and coordinating event team with a key goal of pursuing new market opportunities to increase event sales achieving set revenue and space targets. Identifying and networking with prospective clients & generating business from existing accounts and achieving profitability and increased sales growth. Meeting clients face to face and target potential clients attention and closing deals. To travel and meet Exhibitors by door to door campaign, meet with various Trade Associations, Government Agencies, etc. on a daily basis. Building and maintaining working relationships with internal and external partners, and ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving service quality norms. - Prepare detailed sales data worksheets and sales reports with actionable event plans Requirements The ideal candidate should be a Graduate / preferable Post graduate in Business studies / EVENT Management or equivalent discipline from a recognized university with Minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant industry experience and Excellent English skills, Arabic an advantage. Possess UAE/GCC driving license and preferably own car. Personal Attributes: Commitment to perform and achieve sales targets Proven sales track record with UAE experience - essential Well-presented and excellent people skills Excellent attention to detail and willing to work extra hours Self-motivated and driven with positive 'can-do' attitude Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
