HSE & Security In Charge - GCC Interconnection Authority Jul 14th 2013, 12:48 Monitor, evaluate, plan and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent incidents, injuries, property damage and adverse environment impact Summarized • Design policies and procedures related to Health, Safety and Environment across functions • Promote Safety culture throughout GCCIA, and ensure abidance by established health & safety requirements • Establish Health Safety Environment & Security management system • Prepare emergency action plans • Eliminate incident injuries risk and minimize property damage and adverse environment impact • Ensure workers and company assets are protected • Investigate accidents to identify causes and to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future. • Promote health and safety literature and awareness through safety training and education programs, and demonstrating the use of safety equipment. • Provide new-employee health and safety orientations, and develop materials for these presentations • Issue work permits general instruction. • Ensures that Health Safety Environment & Security protection standards, guidelines, policies and other related matters meet or exceed set standards • Ensure that scheduled safety, health and environmental Audits are conducted in all functions.
