We've Urgent requirement with one of our client for Android Developer job opening Mountain View, CA

 

Position Title: Android Developer

Duration: Contract /Permanent

Location: Mountain View, CA

 

Job Description:

·         Design/architecture, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of Android

·         Ensure quality, clean, tested code is produced (unit, integration, and other QA tests)

·         Create, maintain, and own code and application documentation

·         Add creative input to existing Android projects

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

·         2+ years of Android Development with a portfolio of mobile apps for a variety of Android devices

·         Excellent knowledge in information architecture, human computer interaction and usability design principles

·         Good visual design sense and creative drive

·         Ability to work on their own and as a part of the team

·         Good scoping and estimation skills

·         Good testing/QA skills

·         Good communication skills (verbal and written)

·         Familiar with Agile development

·         Strong OO design and programming skills in Java

·         Extensive knowledge of design patterns, algorithms and data structures

·         Familiar with Android SDK, proficient with networking and UI libraries

·         Experience building multi-threaded applications

·         Familiar with using version control (e.g. SVN/TFS)

·         Good understanding of HTML5, Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, and CSS 3

·         Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).

·         Excellent debugging and optimization skills.

·         Experience with the travel industry, mobile payments, social API's and iOS SDK/Objective-C a plus

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent experience in field
