Construction Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) May 28th 2013, 11:06 Job Responsibilities: • To control and supervise all aspects of site execution of the project. • To ensure implementation of agreed work schedule. • Effective utilization of all resources (including manpower, material, construction equipment and tools etc) as per available work front. • Ensure completion of all site works within the budgeted cost and responsible for taking appropriate measures of cost control at site. • Measure the performance of assigned tasks related to project execution, ensure their timely completion, and address execution issues. • Update Project Manager about site progress by generating regular reports and highlight bottlenecks, anticipated problems along with remedial notions. • Ensure development of project resources at optimum level to achieve maximum productivity level, which is equal or better than forecasting. • Ensure all tasks given to the construction team are completed as per contractual commitments with client and in case of any delay ensure proper remedial measures are taken as and when required, in order to "Pull" the project back on schedule. • Deal with client and consultant in a manner which enhances their trust in the Company. • Ensure the effective achievement of project objectives through leadership, setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal, in order to maximize the performance of his subordinates and the site team. • Accountable for the safe execution of work at project site and risk management to reduce exposure to hazardous liability. • Ensure the execution of project as per the required and agreed quality requirements.
