Division Manager - Interior Design - Dorchesteres Real Estate May 27th 2013, 17:10 Essential Functions/Responsibilities: • Review Interior Design Consultant scope of work as per contract • Scope of work will include, interior design, FF&E, signage, branding • Review and recommend Interior Design Consultant interim payments • Monitor and keep Interior Design consultant on project schedule • Advise Client and Interior Design Consultant of schedule deadlines and give notice of delay if required • Review Client interior design requirements • Assist Interior Design Consultant in collection of project data • Liaison with Consultant and Client for existing documentation and Client requirements • Assist Interior Design Consultant with preparation of concept design • Attend meetings and presentations with Client • Review proposed new Interior Design concept(s)for Client requirements • Review and comment on new Interior Design concept documentation • Attend and participate in interim presentations to Client • Prepare minutes of meetings and presentations for the project record • Attend and participate in final concept presentation • Review Client comments on Interior Design concept and forward to Interior Design consultant for revisions • Attend further presentations to obtain final Client approval and sign-off • Issue approved Interior Design concept to Consultant for design development • Ensure approved design intent is followed by Consultant • Review and comment on Consultant documents and outline specifications • Coordinate documents with existing base building design and MEP • Review documents with Interior Design Consultant and Client before final presentation • Make final presentation of documents to Client for approval and sign-off • Review and comment on CD documents and tender package for interiors • Present CD documentation, specification and BoQ to Client for approval and sign-off • Assist Contracts Manager to retain interiors contractor • Short list interiors contractors • Attend pretender meetings • Issue interiors tender package for bidding • Receive tenders, evaluate and make recommendation to Client for approval • Assist Contracts Manager in writing contract for interior works • Mobilize interiors contractor • Kick off meeting for interiors contractor • Provide project management for interiors • Review progress on site • Attend progress meetings and special meetings • Review schedule, procurement, deliveries for interiors and FF&E • Assist in resolving design and construction conflicts • Coordinate with other disciplines • Coordinate with Consultant for payments and variation orders • Monitor quality control and inspections with Consultant • Monitor snag list and remedial work • Assist in resolving final accounts with interiors contractor • Assist in project commissioning and close-out Job Details Date Posted: 2013-05-27 Job Location: Jeddah , Saudi Arabia Job Role: Art/Design/Creative Company Industry: Real Estate Preferred Candidate Career Level: Management Degree: Bachelor's degree / higher diploma Apply Now - Jobs in Saudi Arabia - Jobs in Jeddah , Saudi Arabia - Jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Search All Jobs
