Managing Director May 26th 2013, 11:16 One the leading Marine Offshore services company in eastern region (Saudi Arabia) is looking for Managing Director. JOB SUMMARY Direct Marines offshore Services' operations associated with oil rigs, regarding planning, organizing, implementing, and following up to utilize company resources within the budget limitations to ensure all business goals are achieved. TASKS 1.Direct company's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency. 2.Oversee activities directly related to providing Marines Offshore services. 3.Direct staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties to functional managers. 4.Determine staffing requirements conferring with functional managers. 5.To provide technical, operational and management expertise within offshore oil and gas services. 6.Monitor overall operational expenses; taking corrective actions to rectify variances. 7.Develop new strategies to maximize profitability and growth with safe and cost-efficient methods. 8.Assess and direct, technical, commercial and operational risk. 9.Direct day to day technical and operational management of all Offshore Services contracts. 10.Full responsibility for the directing and control of: a.Offshore operations: construction, maintenance, crew change services, material management, hook-up and commissioning,support services for offshore drilling rigs and oil production platforms. b.Responsible for vessels estimation for the purpose of sale or purchase. c.Maintaining, operating and contracting of electrical, mechanical, marine and road (water and sewage) projects. d.In house repair facility for vessels to save time and money in Fleet Operation and Management. e.Ensure spare parts and materials management system. f.Marine environmental services, oil pollution control and coast cleaning. g.Health, Safety and Environmental protection. h.Quality i.Technical standards j.Client relationships - particularly with regard to ensuring repeat business k.Profit and Loss of the Offshore Services business unit l.Budgetary control of all management contracts and the Offshore Services business unit. m.Management of the appropriate subcontractors n.Personnel development Education & Qualifications: BSC Navy Science, Marine Engineering, or equivalent education associated with minimum 10 years' experience in directing related offshore services business. Excellent experience in estimation, tendering and contracting. A thorough understanding of marines offshore oilfield operations' services. Project planning. Management experience from Marines services industry. KNOWLEDGE Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources. Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
